Who we are

About the Areivim Team

We are a group of people who have dedicated our lives to helping others. Our niche is our ability to handle a complex problem that may involve mental health, negative experiences resulting in a toxic attitude, made even more complex because of the family dynamics. We then break down this seemingly insurmountable problem, dissecting it into small, manageable, units, and put the person, and his/her families, back together, this time with a healthy attitude, support, and multiple opportunities. We then offer them ongoing support for years to come.

Rabbi Shmuel Gluck has been in Chinuch for over 25 years. He attended Yeshivas Philadelphia and learnt under Reb Shmuel Kaminetzky who is the rabbinical advisor to Areivim, and whom he remains close with to this day. After being a rebbi for seven years, he opened Areivim’s doors in 2000. His focus is on helping teenagers along with their families. Rabbi Gluck’s advice is highly sought after from families, Rabbonim, and schools. Rabbi Gluck is a prolific writer, and world renowned speaker, on all Chinuch related topics.
Rabbi Avi Lehrer, LCSW
Clinical Social Worker
Avi is our clinical social worker. He attended the Chofetz Chaim yeshivos and received his Semicha from Mesivta Tiferes Yerushalayim. After 10 years as a high school rebbe at Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim of Monsey, Avi decided that his most valuable asset was his ability to understand and connect with young men working through challenges and searching for their personal identities. He received his Masters of Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and has been a valuable asset to Areivim for several years. He lives in Monsey with his wife and 4 children.
